| Information James Cunningham, Gilford's father died July 10, 1842 and Anna, his mother died August 13, 1842. Gilford and his brother, Thomas lived with James' parents Jonathan and Susannah (see census below.) Thomas's sister Emeline and brother Daniel lived with Anna's mother, Elizabeth (Summers) Allen. James and Anna, as well as Jonathan and Susannah, are buried at Wolfcreek Cemetery, Sugar Creek Twp, Parke Co., IN. This is right on the border with Fountain County. Guilford appears to have a few family members named after him. His brother Thomas named one of his sons Guilford Clem. One of Thomas' grandsons is named Carl Guilford. | Did Thomas and Gilford move to MO at the same time or did Gilford move there first? It looks like Gilford owns land but Thomas doesn't. Why is Gilford's family back in Parke Co., IN in the 1880 census and Thomas's family in Arkansas? What happened? I would like to find where Gilford and family are buried. |

| I think that Lucy is Guilford's daughter. |
I've found Lucy with her husband and children Mary, Beatrice Bessie and Guilford in the 1910 census. Lucy's husband Cuthbert? and children Beatrice and Alice are in the 1920 census with David Cunningham, who is the right age to be Lucy's brother. Also near by in 1910 is a Thomas J. Cunningham who may also be Lucy's brother. I have found Guilford Officer in the 1920 and 1930 census and he was single. I think I found his SS record and he died in California in 1974.
